The Lack Of Commitments aims are noble and yet beautifully selfish much like those of the original film. We are the soul reprobates of the midlands and we wanna pour our musical hearts out to you. We want you to join us in our over-arching quest to bring soul to a troubled world.

We’re an eleven piece soul band, playing the best music from the film ‘The Commitments’ plus other soul classics to reignite the dwindling fire in your heart. We’re living out The Commitments dream through the music of Wilson, Otis, Aretha, Martha, Percy and the soul greats. You’ll hear Chain of Fools, Destination Anywhere, Mustang Sally, Hard to Handle, Treat Her Right and the inimitable Try a Little Tenderness as we take you on a rollercoaster of sweet, sweet Motown.
