The band often performs a two set show, with the first set featuring music from the film The Commitments with the very best music from the film and the two subsequent soundtrack albums. Audiences will hear classic tunes from artists such as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Joe Tex and Percy Sledge. Nowhere to Run, Take Me to the River, Destination Anywhere, Hard to Handle, Mr Pitiful, I Never Loved a Man, Show Me, Try a Little Tenderness, I Can’t Stand the Rain and the inimitable Mustang Sally.
The second set has a costume change and packs the dancefloor with a high energy set of soul and motown classics. The band has plundered the soul archives, plucking the very best from the atlantic, motown, detroit, stax and chicago eras with classics to keep the party going. Songs from artists such as James Brown, The Marvelettes, The O’Jays, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Jackie Wilson and the queen of soul Aretha Franklin herself. Tracks such as Respect, Higher and Higher, Love Train, Soul Man, I Got You (I Feel Good), Reach Out, Signed, Sealed, Delivered & Proud Mary entertain.
